Don't Shoot the Pianist  is the result of our 1st project  : "Board game" in the 1st year of the "Lead Game Designer" training at ISART Digital Paris.

A fairly broad theme, "double blow and deep blow" was imposed on us. This game went through many iterations before focusing on the essentials, which was the most fun: the duels.

There are 5 types of duels in this game: the dice, the rock-paper-scissors, the Russian roulette, the hand game (the one that hits the table the fastest after a "top") and a completely new one, the "puzzle gun".

In turn, a  player challenges another and sets the stake for the duel then spin the roulette wheel to find out what type of duel will be played. All of this can be influenced by the players' action cards,  the "event" cards triggered at the start of each round of the table or by the place of the player's pawn on the board.

At the end of the duel, the winner takes the stake and it is up to the next player to provoke a duel.

Several documents were requested from us: a One Page Document, a pitch that can be used as a presentation document, the rules of the game, a Bottom-Up or Top-down analysis, a document of intentions and a document listing features.

You can download the documents  by clicking on their  screenshots opposite then by clicking on the link.
